Tricia Gardner Bookkeeping

My first project with a small business was for a bookkeeping company. My client, Tricia, was excited to launch her new business but wasn’t sure where to begin with branding, copywriting, or web design. I was excited to help bring her vision to life from the ground up.

As I developed the brand and website, I put myself in the shoes of her ideal client. Someone searching for bookkeeping help is probably already feeling overwhelmed by their finances, short on time, and looking for someone they can trust.

That insight shaped the entire creative direction. Rather than making the site feel overly corporate or numbers-focused, I created an experience that felt warm, calm, and approachable. The goal was to make visitors feel a sense of relief when they landed on the site and, ultimately, feel confident trusting Tricia with the numbers they didn’t want to deal with themselves.

It was a great lesson on how thoughtful design can solve a business problem, not just make a website look good.
